Editor.

Communications strategist.

I am a professional editor who helps researchers tell their research story more effectively. I hone and polish academic work, and I help academic researchers communicate their policy-oriented findings in ways that a lay reader can understand. I work with researchers throughout the world to help them bring wider attention to their work and to make the work more impactful. I help my clients harness the power of the written word.
Background
I bring extensive communications experience to the tasks I undertake. My advice is informed by my previous experience as an award-winning journalist for the Chicago Tribune covering national and international politics, policy, and social trends.
Education
I have a master’s degree from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University, and I am a recipient of the school’s highest honor: the Harrington Award.
